As part of Office 365, every student and current employee at UW-Eau Claire has access to five copies of the most recent version of Microsoft Office to install on personally-owned devices computers. At this time, the free licenses are not available for guest/retiree/emeritus accounts. The software is free and is yours to use as long as you currently have a UW-Eau Claire account.
During the download process, you will be asked for your credentials to be attached to the UW-Eau Claire domain, and you won't be asked to log in again in the future. Your PennO365 password is identical to your PennKey password (though it is a discrete password). From the Microsoft portal, you'll be able to download Office365 ProPlus applications and to log into Office Online and OneDrive.
Although you cannot install Office 365 ProPlus applications on a University managed work or public computer, you can log into PennO365 and access Office Online through the local web browser. You will not be able to install Office 365 ProPlus or sync locally saved files to OneDrive. However, you can download or upload locally saved files to OneDrive via your web browser.
After your account expires, you will not be able to install or use new instances of O365 or use Office Online and OneDrive and installed applications will enter reduced functionality mode. This means you will be able to view and print documents stored on personal computers or devices, but will be unable to create/save/edit files. You will not lose any documents created and stored locally on your personal computers or devices. Documents saved on OneDrive will NOT be accessible after you graduate or leave Penn and must be downloaded and saved locally before your PennO365 account expires.
After your PennO365 account expires, you will no longer be able to access OneDrive or the documents saved there. Make sure you download your documents from OneDrive within 60 days of your graduation date or last day at Penn. Office 365 ProPlus is a service that allows users to download Office experiences on up to 5 PCs, Macs, or mobile devices. With flexible deployment options, applications are no longer exclusively stored on the computers they were installed on.
UF students, faculty, and staff can download full offline copies of Office 2013 Professional Plus, Office 2016 for Mac, and Office for iPad on up to five personal machines (such as a desktop or a laptop) and up to five tablets. You can also run Office for iPad on up to five mobile devices and Office Mobile for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone on unlimited devices. The applications offered with each of these devices includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Lync, InfoPath, and Skype.

Enrolled Mizzou students receive the Microsoft 365 suite for free. This includes Office 365. Log in to your student email account to download any or all of the Office applications for Windows or Mac. You can install the suite on up to five devices, including iOS, Android, and other mobile operating systems. This is possible using the Print Smart system that grants free printing allowances to enrolled students each semester. Undergraduate students are issued a $17.50 print allowance, which is about 350 pages (black only). Installation of the printers, viewing print job information, and refund requests can be set into motion through the PrintSmart website. If you go over your semester allowance, you can add money to your Tigercard account to pay for the additional printing.
